Who We Are

Norriton Hearing Center has been serving the Norristown, PA; Blue Bell, PA; & Plymouth Meeting, PA community for over 20 years. The center is privately owned and operated, ensuring personalized care tailored to each patient’s needs. The focus and primary goal is patient education, allowing patients to make informed decisions with professional guidance.

Norriton Hearing Center was formed by Karen Jacobs Cooper in 1994 after the closing of the Audiology department at Sacred Hearth Hospital in Norristown. In 2013, Ms. Cooper retired, and the center continued its operations with a commitment to providing exceptional hearing care. Norriton Hearing Center serves Plymouth Meeting, East and West Norriton, Norristown, Blue Bell, Eagleville, Trooper, King of Prussia, and many other communities in Montgomery, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania. Services include diagnostic hearing tests, fittings for hearing protection and musician molds, fittings for hearing aids, hearing aid repairs, tinnitus management, and assistive hearing technology education.

Meet Our Hearing Professionals

Jorge S. Zavala, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology, President

Dr. Zavala received his masters in audiology at Hunter College of CUNY (New York, New York) and his Doctorate in audiology from Salus University (Elkins Park, PA). His clinical training was completed at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital and practiced as an audiologist there until July 2007.

Jennifer R. Raneri, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Jennifer R. Raneri joined Norriton Hearing Center in 2022. She completed her masters and doctoral degree in Audiology at the University of Pittsburgh. She has two decades of experience in hearing healthcare and is passionate about finding hearing health solutions for each patient’s unique listening needs.

Theresa Falencki

Front Office Manager

Theresa Falencki is the Front Office Manager in our practice and has been with Norriton Hearing Center since 2013. She loves working with and helping people and that is evident with her warm, caring personality and her quick witted humor.

Linda Smith

Marketing Specialist

Linda is currently working part time on marketing for Norriton Hearing, database management, following up on insurance claims, and also fills in at front desk duties when Theresa is out of the office.
